  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger, garlic, and green chili. Sauté for a minute.
  4. Add tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.
  5. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add chopped okra and mix until well coated with the spice mixture.
  7. Cover the pan and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the okra is cooked and tender.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  9. Serve hot with roti or rice.
