Beef Ribs with Bourbon BBQ Sauce

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 275°F.
  2. Season the ribs with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ribs and sear on all sides.
  4. In a saucepan, combine the bourbon, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Place the ribs in a roasting pan and pour the sauce over them.
  6. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the sauce is thick and sticky.
  8. Serve the ribs with extra sauce on the side.
