Beef Ribs with Apple Cider Vinegar BBQ Sauce
Tender beef ribs slow-cooked and smothered in a tangy, sweet apple cider vinegar BBQ sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Ketchup - 1 cup
- Brown sugar - 1/2 cup
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 cup
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Beef ribs - 2 racks
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 275°F.
- Season the ribs with salt and pepper and place in a roasting pan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 2.5 hours, or until the meat is tender.
- While the ribs are cooking, make the BBQ sauce. Combine the apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Remove the ribs from the oven and increase the temperature to 350°F.
- Brush the ribs with the BBQ sauce and return to the oven, uncovered, for 30 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized.
- Serve the ribs with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
