Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced potatoes and cook until crispy and golden brown, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes.
  3. In a separate small skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the minced garlic and sliced chili pepper, and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add the paprika, cumin, and salt to the garlic and chili mixture, and stir well.
  6. Pour the garlic and chili mixture over the crispy potatoes in the large skillet, and toss to coat the potatoes evenly with the spices.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  8. Remove from heat and transfer the Batata Harra to a serving dish.
  9. Sprinkle with fresh cilantro and drizzle with lemon juice.
  10. Serve hot as an appetizer or side dish.
