Basil Pesto Pasta

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a food processor, combine the basil, garlic, pine nuts, and Parmesan cheese. Pulse until finely chopped.
  2. With the food processor running, slowly add the olive oil until the pesto is smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving some of the pasta water.
  4. Toss the pasta with the pesto, adding some of the reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  5. Serve the pasta with extra Parmesan cheese on top.
