  1. Preheat your grill to 225°F and set it up for indirect grilling.
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season them all over with the barbecue rub, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the ribs on the grill, bone side down, and cook for about 3 hours.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Brush the ribs with the sauce mixture and continue to cook for another hour, brushing with more sauce every 15 minutes.
  6. Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
