Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, add the palm fruit extract and water. Boil for 20 minutes to soften the extract.
  2. Add the assorted meat, stockfish, dried fish, onions, and seasoning cubes. Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes or until the meat is tender.
  3. Add the crayfish, fresh pepper, and salt. Stir well and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped uziza leaves and utazi leaves. Stir and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  6. Serve hot with your choice of swallow (e.g., pounded yam, fufu, or eba).
