Banana Granola
This homemade banana granola is a delicious and healthy breakfast option. It's packed with oats, nuts, and dried bananas for a flavorful and nutritious start to your day.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons
- Honey - 1/4 cup
- Dried bananas - 1/2 cup, sliced
- Pecans - 1 cup, chopped
- Almonds - 1 cup, chopped
- Bananas - 2 ripe, mashed
- Oats - 3 cups
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the oats, mashed bananas, chopped almonds, chopped pecans, dried bananas, honey, coconut oil, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the granola is golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through to ensure even baking.
