Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, boil the assorted meat, stockfish, and dried fish until tender.
  2. Remove the meat and fish from the pot and set aside.
  3. In a separate pot, heat the palm oil and sauté the chopped onion, bell pepper, and scotch bonnet pepper for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the palm fruit extract to the pot and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the boiled meat and fish back to the pot.
  6. Pour in the water and bring to a boil.
  7. Add the crayfish, seasoning cubes, and salt. Stir well.
  8. Reduce the heat and let the soup simmer for 30 minutes.
  9. Add the chopped uziza leaves and ugu leaves to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  10. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  11. Serve hot and enjoy!
