Apricot Cobbler Carbonara
A unique twist on the classic carbonara pasta dish, this recipe combines the flavors of apricot cobbler with creamy carbonara sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Egg yolks - 2
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
- Apricot preserves - 1/2 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 medium, diced
- Bacon - 6 slices, chopped
- Spaghetti - 8 ounces
Let's Get Started
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.
