Andhra Chilli Chicken
Andhra Chilli Chicken is a spicy, flavorful South Indian chicken dish. The chicken is marinated in a blend of spices, then stir-fried with onions and green chillies.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Coriander leaves - For garnish
- Curry leaves - A handful
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - To taste
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Onions - 2, finely chopped
- Green chillies - 4, slit
- Chicken - 500 grams
Let's Get Started
- Clean the chicken and cut it into small pieces.
- Marinate the chicken with ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the green chillies and curry leaves.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add the marinated chicken to the pan and mix well. Cook on medium heat until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
