- Coriander leaves - for garnish
- Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Coconut milk - 1 cup
- Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
- Red chilli powder - 2 teaspoons
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoons
- Green chillies - 2, slit
- Tomatoes - 2, finely chopped
- Onions - 2, finely chopped
- Chicken - 1 kg
Let's Get Started
- Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions, green chillies, and ginger garlic paste. Saute until the onions turn golden brown.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
- Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the chicken pieces to the pan and mix well. Cook until the chicken is half cooked.
- Add the coconut milk and salt to the pan. Mix well, cover the pan, and cook on a low flame until the chicken is fully cooked and the gravy thickens.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
