Abura Soba
Abura soba is a delicious Japanese noodle dish topped with flavorful sauce, vegetables, and meat.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Salt - To taste
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Chili oil - 1 teaspoon
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Nori (seaweed) - 2 sheets, shredded
- Bean sprouts - 1 cup
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Pork belly - 200g, thinly sliced
- Ramen noodles - 2 servings
Let's Get Started
- Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, chili oil, sugar, and salt to make the sauce.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the pork belly slices until crispy and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the bean sprouts and cook for a few minutes until slightly softened.
- Add the cooked ramen noodles to the pan and pour the sauce over them. Toss everything together until well coated.
- Divide the noodles into serving bowls and top with the crispy pork belly slices, chopped green onions, shredded nori, and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
