Let's Get Started

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, eggs, milk, salt, and melted butter. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
  2. Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll each portion into a thin rectangle.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, and salt until well combined.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over one of the rolled dough rectangles.
  5. Roll up the dough tightly, starting from one of the long sides.
  6. Cut the rolled dough into small pieces, about 2 inches in length.
  7. Place the cut pieces in a greased baking dish, making sure they are close together.
  8. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top of the Štrukli.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
