Ingredients - Serves 4
- Water - Enough to cover the ribs
- Spring onions - 2, cut into sections
- Ginger - 3 slices
- Cinnamon stick - 1
- Star anise - 2
- Rock sugar - 50 grams
- Shaoxing wine - 2 tablespoons
- Light soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Dark soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Pork ribs - 1 kg
Let's Get Started
- Blanch the pork ribs in boiling water for a few minutes to remove impurities.
- In a pot, add the blanched ribs, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, rock sugar, star anise, cinnamon stick, ginger, and spring onions.
- Add enough water to cover the ribs.
