Wild Rice Pilaf

Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. Rinse the wild rice under cold water.
  2. In a large saucepan, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add the wild rice, reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the rice is tender and has absorbed most of the broth.
  3. While the rice is cooking, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, and garlic, and cook until the vegetables are soft.
  4. When the rice is done, stir in the cooked vegetables and season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until everything is well combined.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
