Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  2. Add the cooked quinoa, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, until browned and heated through.
  5. Serve the burgers on the whole wheat buns with lettuce, tomato, and avocado.
