Veg Korma
A rich and creamy Indian dish made with mixed vegetables, spices, and coconut milk.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Cilantro - For garnish
- Salt - To taste
- Spices (turmeric, cumin, coriander, garam masala) - 1 teaspoon each
- Coconut milk - 1 cup
- Tomato - 1, finely chopped
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 inch piece, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, finely chopped
- Mixed vegetables - 2 cups, chopped
Let's Get Started
- Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and green chili. Saute until the onions turn golden brown.
- Add the chopped tomato and cook until it becomes soft.
- Add the mixed vegetables and saute for a few minutes.
- Add the spices and salt, mix well, and cook for a few more minutes.
- Add the coconut milk, cover the pan, and simmer until the vegetables are cooked and the flavors are well combined.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
