Truffle Burger
A gourmet burger with a truffle-infused patty, topped with truffle mayo and served on a brioche bun.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Swiss cheese - 4 slices
- Onion - 1, sliced
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- Mayonnaise - 1/2 cup
- Brioche buns - 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Truffle oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ground beef - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with the truffle oil, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, mix the mayonnaise with a little truffle oil to make truffle mayo.
- Toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Spread the truffle mayo on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, and a slice of onion.
- When the burgers are done, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each one and let it melt slightly from the heat of the burger.
- Place the burgers on the buns and top with the other half of the bun. Serve immediately.
