Tex Mex Burrito
This Tex-Mex burrito is filled with seasoned ground beef, rice, beans, cheese, and your favorite toppings.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Tomato - 1, diced
- Lettuce - 1 cup, shredded
- Guacamole - 1/2 cup
- Salsa - 1/2 cup
- Sour cream - 1/2 cup
- Shredded cheese - 1 cup
- Tortillas - 4 large
- Canned black beans - 1 cup, drained and rinsed
- Cooked rice - 2 cups
- Tex-mex seasoning - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, diced
- Ground beef - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the Tex-Mex seasoning and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked rice and black beans to the skillet. Stir until well combined and heated through.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Divide the beef and rice mixture evenly among the tortillas.
- Top each tortilla with shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, shredded lettuce, and diced tomato.
- Fold the sides of the tortillas over the filling, then roll them up tightly to form burritos.
