Teriyaki Tempeh and Broccoli

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the tempeh cubes and cook until they are browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger to the pan and cook for another minute.
  4. Add the broccoli florets to the pan and cook until they are bright green and slightly tender, about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the tempeh and broccoli, stirring to coat everything in the sauce.
  6. Cover the pan and let everything simmer for about 10 minutes, until the broccoli is tender and the tempeh has absorbed some of the sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the top of the dish just before serving.
