Tandoori Gobi
Tandoori Gobi is a delicious Indian appetizer made with marinated cauliflower cooked in a tandoor or oven.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Lemon wedges - For serving
- Fresh coriander leaves - For garnish
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - To taste
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Yogurt - 1/2 cup
- Cauliflower - 1 medium head, cut into florets
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well to make a marinade.
- Add cauliflower florets to the marinade and toss until well coated. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator for better flavor.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the marinated cauliflower florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and slightly charred.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges.
