Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, tandoori masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well to make a marinade.
  2. Add the goat meat to the marinade and coat it well. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove the marinated goat meat from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the goat meat on all sides until browned.
  6. Transfer the seared goat meat to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the meat is tender and cooked through.
  7. Once cooked, remove the tandoori goat from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with lemon wedges.
  9. Enjoy the delicious and spicy tandoori goat!
