Tandoori Chicken Wings
These flavorful tandoori chicken wings are marinated in a blend of yogurt and spices, then grilled to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Lemon wedges - For serving
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 tablespoon
- Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Yogurt - 1 cup
- Chicken wings - 2 pounds
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, paprika, cumin, coriander, and salt. Mix well to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss until well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken wings from the marinade, shaking off any excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
- Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the chicken wings on the grill and cook for about 12-15 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
- Remove the chicken wings from the grill and transfer to a serving platter.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
