Let's Get Started

  1. Prepare the octopus by removing the beak and eyes, then washing thoroughly under cold water.
  2. Place the octopus in a large pot of boiling water and cook for about 20 minutes, or until tender.
  3. Remove the octopus from the pot and let it cool.
  4. Once cooled, cut the octopus into large pieces.
  5. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add the octopus pieces and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  6. Preheat your charcoal grill. Once hot, grill the octopus pieces for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they have a nice char.
  7. Serve the grilled octopus with lemon wedges on the side.
