Tandoori Celery
Tandoori Celery is a flavorful and spicy dish made with marinated celery cooked in a tandoor or oven.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh cilantro - For garnish
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - To taste
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
- Yogurt - 1/2 cup
- Celery stalks - 8
Let's Get Started
- Wash and trim the celery stalks. Cut them into 2-inch pieces.
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, and oil. Mix well to make a marinade.
- Add the celery pieces to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the marinated celery pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the celery is tender and slightly charred.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot as an appetizer or side dish.
