Fish Chermoula
Fish Chermoula is a delicious Moroccan dish made with fresh fish marinated in a blend of flavorful herbs and spices.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh cilantro - 1/2 cup, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- White fish fillets - 4 (6 ounce)
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the garlic, cilantro, paprika, cumin, cayenne, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. This is the chermoula marinade.
- Add the fish fillets to the bowl and turn to coat them in the marinade. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat your grill or broiler. Cook the fish for about 5 minutes on each side, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve the fish hot, with extra chermoula sauce on the side if desired.
