Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, paprika, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and salt. Mix well to make the marinade.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and toss to coat the meat evenly. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill or oven to high heat.
- If using a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat. If using an oven, preheat it to 450°F (230°C).
- Remove the marinated beef from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.
- If using a grill, thread the beef slices onto skewers. If using an oven, place the beef slices on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
- Brush the beef slices with vegetable oil to prevent sticking and enhance the flavor.
- Grill the beef skewers or bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the beef from the grill or oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with lemon wedges.
- Enjoy the delicious tandoori beef with naan bread or rice.
