Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, paprika, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and salt. Mix well to make the marinade.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and toss to coat the meat evenly. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill or oven to high heat.
  4. If using a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat. If using an oven, preheat it to 450°F (230°C).
  5. Remove the marinated beef from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.
  6. If using a grill, thread the beef slices onto skewers. If using an oven, place the beef slices on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
  7. Brush the beef slices with vegetable oil to prevent sticking and enhance the flavor.
  8. Grill the beef skewers or bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
  9. Remove the beef from the grill or oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with lemon wedges.
  11. Enjoy the delicious tandoori beef with naan bread or rice.
