Tandoori Baby Octopus

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Clean the baby octopus by removing the beak and internal organs. Rinse well under cold water.
  2. In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, turmeric powder, cayenne pepper, and salt. Mix well to make the marinade.
  3. Add the cleaned baby octopus to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator for better flavor.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated baby octopus onto skewers, leaving some space between each piece.
  6. Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the octopus is cooked through and slightly charred.
  7. Remove the skewers from the grill and garnish with fresh cilantro.
  8. Serve the tandoori baby octopus hot with lemon wedges on the side.
