  1. Cook the tagliatelle pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Drain the pasta, reserving some of the pasta water.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the garlic and butter, and toss to combine.
  6. Drizzle the truffle oil over the pasta and toss again to combine.
  7. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the pan and toss until the cheese is melted and the pasta is coated in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add some of the reserved pasta water.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve the pasta in bowls, garnished with freshly shaved truffles.
