  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a sękacz mold or bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Gradually add the flour, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased mold or bundt pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 2 hours, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  8. Carefully invert the cake onto a serving plate and let cool completely before slicing and serving.
