Ingredients - Serves 4
- Water - 4 cups
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chinese sausage - 4, sliced
- Glutinous rice - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- Soak the glutinous rice in water for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible.
- In a large pan, sauté the Chinese sausage over medium heat until it's browned and crispy.
- Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant.
- Drain the rice and add it to the pan, stirring to combine with the sausage and garlic.
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil to the pan, stirring to evenly coat the rice and sausage.
