Steamed Edamame

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Fill a pot with a small amount of water and bring to a boil.
  2. Place the edamame in a steamer basket and place the basket in the pot. Make sure the water does not touch the bottom of the steamer basket.
  3. Cover the pot and steam the edamame for 5-10 minutes, or until the edamame are tender and bright green.
  4. Remove the edamame from the steamer basket and sprinkle with salt.
  5. Serve the edamame hot, instructing your guests to squeeze the beans out of the pods with their teeth.
