Spicy Seafood Ramen
This spicy seafood ramen is a flavorful and satisfying dish packed with a variety of seafood and a spicy broth.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Nori sheets - 2, shredded
- Eggs - 2, soft-boiled
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken broth - 4 cups
- Gochujang (korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Fish cake - 1/2 cup, sliced
- Mussels - 1/2 cup
- Squid - 1/2 cup, sliced
- Shrimp - 8 large, peeled and deveined
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
Let's Get Started
- Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp, squid, mussels, and fish cake to the pot. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the seafood is cooked through.
- Add the green onions, soy sauce, and gochujang to the pot. Stir well to combine.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Divide the cooked ramen noodles into serving bowls. Ladle the spicy seafood broth over the noodles.
- Garnish each bowl with a soft-boiled egg and shredded nori sheets.
