Spicy Tuna Roll Bowl
A deconstructed version of the classic sushi roll, this bowl is filled with rice, fresh vegetables, and spicy tuna.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Nori sheets - 2, cut into strips
- Avocado - 1, sliced
- Cucumber - 1, thinly sliced
- Sriracha - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Tuna - 200 grams, sashimi grade
- Sushi rice - 1 cup, cooked
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, and Sriracha.
- Cut the tuna into small cubes and add it to the sauce mixture. Stir well to coat the tuna in the sauce.
- Divide the cooked sushi rice between two bowls.
- Top the rice with the marinated tuna, cucumber slices, avocado slices, and nori strips.
- Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the top of each bowl.
- Serve immediately, with extra soy sauce on the side if desired.
