Spicy Miso Ramen
This spicy miso ramen is a flavorful and comforting Japanese noodle soup with a kick of heat.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Nori sheets - 2, shredded
- Soft-boiled eggs - 2
- Bean sprouts - 1/2 cup
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Firm tofu - 1/2 cup, cubed
- Chicken or vegetable broth - 4 cups
- Sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Red miso paste - 3 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
Let's Get Started
- Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the red miso paste, soy sauce, and sriracha sauce. Stir well to combine.
- Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cubed tofu and simmer for 10 minutes.
