Spicy Cajun Burger
A juicy burger seasoned with a homemade cajun spice blend, topped with pepper jack cheese and a spicy sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Spicy sauce - To taste
- Onion - 1, sliced
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- Hamburger buns - 4
- Pepper jack cheese - 4 slices
- Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Cajun seasoning - 2 tablespoons
- Ground beef - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef, cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
- Grill the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of pepper jack cheese and let it melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1 minute.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the patty, tomato slice, onion slice, and a drizzle of spicy sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately.
