Sourdough Bread Stuffing
A delicious and hearty stuffing made with sourdough bread, celery, onions, and a blend of herbs.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Fresh sage - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Fresh parsley - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Chicken broth - 2 cups
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Celery - 4 stalks, diced
- Onions - 2, diced
- Butter - 1/2 cup
- Sourdough bread - 1 loaf, cubed and dried
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions, celery, and garlic and cook until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, cooked vegetables, chicken broth, parsley, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Toss until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and crispy.
