Shrimp Scampi with Parmesan
This delicious shrimp scampi is made with succulent shrimp, garlic, butter, white wine, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Cooked pasta - 8 ounces
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- White wine - 1/2 cup
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
Let's Get Started
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the white wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to combine with the pasta and sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
