Sharbat E Anar
Sharbat-e Anar is a popular Persian pomegranate drink. It's refreshing, sweet, and perfect for summer.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Rose water - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Pomegranate juice - 4 cups
Let's Get Started
- In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Remove the syrup from the heat and let it cool.
- In a large pitcher, combine the pomegranate juice, lemon juice, and rose water.
- Add the cooled syrup to the pitcher and stir well.
- Chill the sharbat in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
- Serve the sharbat over ice.
