Sesame Tofu Stir Fry

Let's Get Started

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  3. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil and sauté the garlic and ginger for 1 minute.
  5. Add the broccoli, carrot, and red bell pepper to the skillet. Stir fry for 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and honey. Pour the sauce over the vegetables in the skillet.
  7. Add the cooked tofu back to the skillet and toss everything together to coat in the sauce.
  8. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the tofu is heated through.
  9. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
  10. Serve the sesame tofu stir fry over steamed rice or noodles.
