Sesame Ramen
This sesame ramen is a flavorful and comforting dish made with ramen noodles, sesame oil, and a variety of vegetables.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 4, sliced
- Red bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
- Carrots - 2, julienned
- Vegetable broth - 4 cups
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
Let's Get Started
- Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the soy sauce and vegetable broth to the pot. Bring to a boil.
- Add the julienned carrots and sliced red bell pepper to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Divide the cooked ramen noodles into serving bowls.
- Ladle the hot broth and vegetables over the noodles.
