Seattle Style Hot Dog
A Seattle-style hot dog, sometimes referred to as a Seattle Dog, is a hot dog topped with cream cheese and sautéed onions. It's a popular late-night street food in Seattle.

- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Grilled jalapenos - To taste
- Mustard - To taste
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Onions - 1 large, thinly sliced
- Cream cheese - 1/2 cup
- Hot dog buns - 4
- Hot dogs - 4
Let's Get Started
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onions and cook until they are soft and caramelized, about 10 minutes.
- Grill the hot dogs until they are heated through and slightly charred.
- Spread the cream cheese on the inside of the hot dog buns.
- Place the hot dogs in the buns and top with the caramelized onions, mustard, and grilled jalapenos.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the hot dogs immediately.
