Scallops with Asparagus
This is a simple yet elegant dish featuring seared scallops and tender asparagus, all brought together with a light lemon butter sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Lemon - 1, juiced
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Asparagus - 1 bunch, trimmed
- Scallops - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the scallops with salt and pepper and add them to the skillet. Cook until golden and crispy, about 2 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the asparagus and cook until tender, about 4 minutes.
