Sausage and Onion Omelette

Ingredients - Serves 2

Let's Get Started

  1. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Heat the butter in the skillet over medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook until the edges start to set.
  5. Sprinkle the cooked sausage, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, and green onions evenly over one half of the omelette.
  6. Fold the other half of the omelette over the filling and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through.
  7. Slide the omelette onto a plate and cut in half. Serve hot.
