Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Clean and wash mustard leaves, spinach and fenugreek leaves. Chop them finely.
  2. Chop green chillies, garlic, ginger, onions and tomatoes.
  3. Heat two tablespoons ghee in a pan. Add green chillies, garlic and ginger. Sauté for two minutes.
  4. Add onions and sauté till light brown. Add tomatoes and sauté till they are cooked.
  5. Add chopped greens and sauté for five minutes. Add salt, red chilli powder and mix. Add half a cup of water, cover and cook on low heat for forty-five minutes.
  6. Add cornmeal dissolved in half a cup of water and cook for ten minutes.
  7. Add garam masala powder and remaining ghee and mix. Serve hot with makki ki roti.
