Sardinhas Assadas
Sardinhas Assadas is a traditional Portuguese dish made with grilled or roasted sardines marinated in olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice.

- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon

- Fresh sardines - 8
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- Clean the sardines by removing the scales and guts, and rinse them under cold water.
- In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the sardines in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for 10 minutes.
- Grill or roast the sardines for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and slightly charred.
- Remove the sardines from the grill or oven and sprinkle them with fresh parsley.
