Sam Wo Rice Noodles
A delicious and traditional Chinese dish, Sam Wo Rice Noodles are stir-fried with a variety of vegetables and sauces for a flavorful and satisfying meal.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Bean sprouts - 1 cup
- Bell pepper - 1, julienned
- Carrot - 1, julienned
- Onion - 1, thinly sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Rice noodles - 200 grams
Let's Get Started
- Soak the rice noodles in warm water for 15 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
- Heat a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and onion and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the carrot and bell pepper and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Add the drained noodles and sauce to the wok. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until the noodles are heated through.
- Add the bean sprouts and green onions and stir-fry for another minute.
- Serve the noodles hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
