Salted Caramel Cheesecake

- Whipped cream - For serving
- Sea salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salted caramel sauce - 1 cup
- Eggs - 3
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Granulated sugar - 1/2 cup
- Cream cheese - 16 oz
- Butter - 1/3 cup, melted
- Graham cracker crumbs - 1 1/2 cups
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In a separate mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with half of the sea salt.
- Pour the remaining cream cheese mixture over the caramel layer.
- Drizzle the remaining salted caramel sauce over the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining sea salt.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the cheesecake to set.
- Serve chilled with a dollop of whipped cream and an extra drizzle of salted caramel sauce.
