Salt and Vinegar Crisps
Homemade salt and vinegar crisps are a tasty and healthier alternative to store-bought chips. They're easy to make and perfect for snacking.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sea salt - 1 tablespoon
- White vinegar - 1 cup
- Potatoes - 2 large
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the potatoes into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
- In a large bowl, combine the vinegar and half of the sea salt. Add the potato slices and let them soak for about 5 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a clean towel. Toss them with the olive oil and spread them out on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy. Be sure to flip the chips halfway through for even cooking.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with the remaining sea salt. Let them cool slightly before serving.
